Does SEEK Real Estate actually pay their agents 100% commission?
Yes. We have 3 plans, on our most popular plan agents take home 100% of the commission earned.
Does SEEK Real Estate offer a Mentorship Program
Yes. Agents can be paired with a more experienced agent. The Mentor will help the Agent to understand all aspects of the real estate process. The Mentor will work side-by-side with the Agent on the Agents' first 3 transactions. Often the Mentor will engage the Agent to complete tasks on the Mentors transactions in order to give the Agent more experience.
Does SEEK Real Estate
have a physical office location?
Yes. SEEK Real Estate has an administrative office. The office is no longer necessary for agents to conduct business; most agents are conducting business via email, text, phone, or computer.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide any real estate software to their agents?
Yes. SEEK Real Estate has implemented a back office file and contact management system. Our back office system provides seamless tracking, compliance, and electronic signatures. The contact manager provides you with strategic follow-up recommendations.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide marketing materials for their agents?
Yes & No. Typically agents elect to be responsible for their own marketing. By being compensated at 100% commission, each agent can market themselves, their listing and sales in a manner that best suites their business. Of course, our logos and templates are made available for use.
Does SEEK Real Estate
provide free access to the MLS?
No. Each agent is responsible for paying the fees for MLS access.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide training to each agent?
Yes, however, it is transactional training... at the moment. SEEK Real Estate does not provide traditional training (i.e. weekly classroom training to cover topics such as calling expired listings, calling for sale by owners, etc.). We can suggest options if so inclined. We will provide training on new tech we find of interest. Instead, SEEK Real Estate will provide transactional training – which is training an agent when they're engaged with an active client. SEEK Real Estate provides full-time support and training to each agent that is engaged with a client. This method has proven more effective and many agents have preferred this method of training.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide training materials?
Yes. Each agent is provided training and support when they sign on to Back Office.
Does SEEK Real Estate pay for Errors and Omissions Insurance or is that the agent’s responsibility?
SEEK Real Estate covers the expense of Errors and Omissions Insurance for each agent. Depending on the plan, Agents contribute a small amount each time they close a transaction.
Is there a broker review
fee at SEEK Real Estate?
No. There is no broker review fee at SEEK Real Estate *See fees.
Is there a buy-in fee to work there ?
No. There is no buy-in fee to work at SEEK Real Estate. There is a $197 setup fee. Which goes towards the costs of moving the license adding to insurance, and setting up systems and software.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide business cards for their agents?
No. Each agent is responsible for purchasing their own business cards.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide
yard signs for their agents?
No. Each agent is responsible for purchasing their own yard signs.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide real estate forms to their agents?
Yes. Each agent with SEEK Real Estate must be a member of the Realtor Association. Through the association, all agents have access to state regulated forms.
Does SEEK Real Estate provide websites for their agents?
No. As a 100% model agents may choose from any provider that best suits their business.
Does SEEK Real Estate
provide leads to their agents?
Yes. SEEK Real Estate does engage in lead generation. Leads are provided to agents through a number of sources.
Can an agent work part-time, or do they need to work full-time?
An agent can work part-time or full-time. SEEK Real Estate leaves it up to each agent on how you operate your business.
Does an agent need to attend mandatory meetings?
There are no mandatory meetings.
Does SEEK Real Estate offer any benefits such as health or dental?
No. Each agent is considered an independent contractor; therefore, no health or dental benefits are offered. As a member of the Realtor Association, agents receive discounts on health and dental through the Realtor Association's direct partners.
Does SEEK Real Estate pay
taxes for each agent?
No. Each agent is considered an independent contractor; therefore, each agent is responsible for paying their own taxes. We do have a bookkeeper on staff that you can utilize to manage and reconcile your books each month. The bookkeeper will close out your books at the end of the year and deliver to your accountant. The fees for this service varies based on the number of banking transactions you have per month.
If SEEK Real Estate does not have a local office, how does an agent get their commission check?
Prior to closing a review of the file will be done by the broker/staff to make sure all documents are in order. Once verified complete, a funding order will be sent to the closing agent with instructions to provide the agent with their commission check at closing.
How are escrow/deposits handled?
All deposit are to be held in the closing agents escrow account. SEEK Real Estate does not hold escrow. An escrow receipt must be collected from the closing agent and uploaded into the Back Office file..
Does SEEK Real Estate provide
agents with an email address?
Yes and no. If an agent wants to use the @SeekRealtyAdvisors.com email address, we can set that up for them. Agents are not required to use this address and may use any email address they are comfortable with.
Does SEEK provide a
Transaction Coordinator?
SEEK does have a Transaction Coordinator on staff. The service is available on a per transaction basis. A fee of $350 will be applied against any transaction in which the Transaction Coordinator is utilized.
If an agent needs help with something, who do they call?
We have several levels of support. Agents have access to Joshua Farber (President/Principal Broker) via text, email, or telephone 7 days/Week to answer any questions an agent may have. If he doesn’t answer immediately, it's likely he is on the phone, or helping someone and will return your call as soon as possible. For agents who utilize the Transaction Coordinator service, they may also reach out to the Transaction Coordinator for support. Support is available 7 days/Week.
Does SEEK Real Estate
have any requirements
that an agent must follow?
Yes. We have a comprehensive policy manual. All items have been carefully designed to keep you out of trouble.
If an agent owns property and wants to sell it, must they list it through SEEK Real Estate?
No. Each agent who owns property may choose to list their property through SEEK Real Estate. When a property is listed on the MLS, only the transaction fee and any MLS charges will be do to the brokerage. Listing your properties on the MLS helps our visibility in the market.
Are there mandatory listing fees an agent must abide by?
No. As long as everything is legal, we allow you to run your business the way you see fit.
In order to join SEEK Real Estate,
is there paperwork an agent
needs to fill out?
Yes. Every agent that joins SEEK Real Estate must sign an independent contractor agreement and Policy Manual. It establishes the agent’s role as an independent contractor, rules and regulations, along with the commission they will be receiving.
Is joining the Realtor Association optional or mandatory?
Joining the Realtor Association is mandatory. The Realtor Association rules require all agents under a Realtor Broker to also be Realtors.
Is joining the MLS optional
or mandatory?
Joining the MLS is mandatory. MLS rules require all agents under an MLS affiliated Broker to also be a member of the MLS.
What if SEEK Real Estate is not for me? Can I take my listings?
Absolutely! SEEK Real Estate will not hold any of your listings if you feel the need to go your own way. There is a 15-day notification to us and documentation required showing the owner of the listing is aware of (and accepts) the change. A $100 administrative fee per listing will be due prior to release.
Does SEEK Real Estate charge any fees to work there?

Plan B: Monthly Fee: $0, Split: 90% to Agent, Transaction Fee: $597 (transactions up to $600,000), 1/10th of 1% (.001) on transactions over $600,000, plus $75 for E&O Insurance. One-Time Setup Fee: $197
Plan C: Monthly Fee: $0, Split: 80% to Agent, Transaction Fee: $0 (transactions up to $600,000), 1/10th of 1% (.001) on transactions over $600,000, plus $75 for E&O Insurance. One-Time Setup Fee: $197
Is there any way to avoid
the above costs?
Yes, many of our agents add the fees to the contract as either additional commissions paid by their customer.
